وزير التربية والتعليم يعقد اجتماعًا مع المجلس الثقافي البريطاني وكامبريدج لتعزيز آليات التعاون في الخدمات التعليمية المختلفة بالمدارس الرسمية الدولية (IPS)

اجتمع الدكتور رضا حجازي وزير التربية والتعليم والتعليم الفني مع أ/ نادر يونان رئيس مؤسسة المدارس الدولية في مصر، وإليزابيث وايت مديرة المجلس الثقافي البريطاني في مصر؛ لمناقشة تعزيز آليات التعاون في الخدمات التعليمية المختلفة بالمدارس الرسمية الدولية (IPS) خلال الفترة المقبلة.
وأكد الوزير أن المدارس الرسمية الدولية تمثل نموذجا مضيئا في التعليم المصري لكونها تقدم خدمة تعليمية متميزة، مشيرًا إلى أن الوزارة تستهدف التوسع فى أعداد هذه المدارس خلال المرحلة المقبلة حيث يبلغ عددها حاليا ٢٠ مدرسة، موجهًا الشكر لمؤسسة أصحاب المدارس الرسمية الدولية على مبادرتها بإنشاء هذه المدارس.
وأضاف الدكتور رضا حجازي أن الوزارة حريصة على توفير كافة الإمكانات اللازمة للمدارس الرسمية الدولية (IPS)، من مناهج وفصول مجهزة بالشكل الذي يتناسب مع طبيعتها، وتجهيزها بالمعامل المتطورة، فضلًا عن الاستعانة بالمعلمين الأكفاء واتباعهم الطرق الحديثة للتدريس.
وأشار الدكتور رضا حجازي إلى أن المدارس الرسمية الدولية (IPS) تقدم نموذجًا تعليميًا دوليًا يعتمد على مناهج مصممة وفقًا لأحدث النظم العالمية، مؤكدًا أن هذه المدارس قد حازت على ثقة المجتمع المصري، وانعكس ذلك فى الإقبال الكبير عليها.
وأوضح الوزير أن المدارس الرسمية الدولية (IPS) تعمل على رفع مستوى التعليم في مصر كخطوة لمواكبة التطورات العالمية حيث أن هذه المدارس تدعم (النظام البريطاني)، كما تتيح الفرصة لأولياء الأمور الراغبين في تعليم أبنائهم تعليمًا دوليًا بمصروفات مناسبة.
ومن جانبها، أكدت إليزابيث وايت على استمرار دعم المجلس الثقافي البريطاني لرؤية وزارة التربية والتعليم الخاصة بالمدارس الرسمية الدولية (IPS)، وطموحها نحو زيادة عدد هذه المدارس.
وقد ناقش اللقاء آليات تعزيز التعاون خلال الفترة المقبلة في تقديم الخدمات التعليمية المختلفة بالمدارس الرسمية الدولية (IPS)، كما تم الاتفاق على إعداد برتوكول تعاون يضم كل من وزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم الفني، ومؤسسة المدارس الرسمية الدولية في مصر، والمجلس الثقافي البريطاني، وكامبريدج؛ لتفعيل آليات التعاون بشكل أكبر.
وقد حضر اللقاء مي الحداد المدير التنفيذي لكامبريدج بمصر وشمال أفريقيا وشيماء البنا رئيس قطاع التعليم بالمجلس الثقافي البريطاني في مصر، وفخر جيفري رئيس قطاع الامتحانات بالمجلس، وعبد الرؤوف علام رئيس المجلس الأعلى للأمناء والأباء والمعلمين، وغادة الدجاني المدير الإداري للمدرسة الإنجليزية الحديثة، وصلاح عائشة المدير الإقليمي لمدارس الشويفات.
وحضر من وزارة التربية والتعليم محمد عطية رئيس الإدارة المركزية للتعليم بمصروفات، ومها ميخائيل مدير عام إدارة المدارس الرسمية الدولية، ومحمد شريف من مكتب وزير التربية والتعليم.
وعلى هامش اللقاء، وقع الدكتور رضا حجازي وزير التربية والتعليم والتعليم الفني، وإليزابيث وايت مدير المجلس الثقافي البريطاني في مصر، برتوكول تعاون بشأن تنفيذ عدد من الأنشطة التي تدعم تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية، وتطوير مهارات معلمي اللغة الإنجليزية والرياضيات والعلوم في المرحلة الابتدائية.
ويعتبر البروتوكول تأسيسًا لمرحلة جديدة، تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون في مجالات البرامج التدريبية؛ لبناء قدرات مدربي المعلمين، ومجموعات الممارسين لمهنة التدريس لتشمل ٢٠ ألف معلم، بالإضافة إلى تلبية الاحتياجات المتعلقة بإتقان المعلمين للغة الإنجليزية، ومهارات التدريس والوعي بالقضايا البيئية العالمية، وتنفيذ عدد من الأنشطة التي تدعم تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية، وتطوير مهارات معلمي اللغة الإنجليزية والرياضيات والعلوم في المرحلة الابتدائية في محافظات مصر السبعة والعشرين.

Dr. Reda Hijazi, Minister of Education, and Technical Education, met with Mr. Nader Yunan, Chairman of Foundation of International Schools in Egypt and Elizabeth White, Director of the British Cultural Council in Egypt; to discuss strengthening the mechanisms of cooperation in different educational services in international official schools (IPS) in the coming period.
The minister affirmed that the international official schools represent a shining model in Egyptian education for providing an exceptional educational service, noting that the ministry aims to expand the numbers of these schools during the next phase, which currently stands at 1,500 schools, thanking the Foundation of International Schools in Egypt for its initiative in creating these schools.
Dr. Reda Hijazi added that the ministry is keen to provide all necessary facilities to International Official Schools (IPS), from curriculum and classes that are equipped in a manner that is appropriate to their nature, equipped with cutting-edge practices, as well as recruiting competent teachers and following modern methods of teaching.
Dr. Reda Hijazi pointed out that the International Official Schools (IPS) offer an international educational model based on a curriculum designed in accordance with the latest global systems. These schools have certainly won the trust of the Egyptian community, and this is reflected in the great turnout.
International Official Schools (IPS) are working to upgrade education in Egypt as a step to keep up with global developments as these schools are supported by the (British regime), the minister explained that it also provides an opportunity to parents who wish to educate their children with an international education at affordable costs.
For her part, Elizabeth White stressed her continued support of the British Cultural Council to see the Ministry of Education for International Official Schools (IPS), and her ambition to increase the number of such schools.
The meeting discussed mechanisms to enhance cooperation in the coming period in the provision of different educational services in international official schools (IPS), and agreed to prepare a protocol of cooperation including the Ministry of Education, Technical Education, the International Association of Official Schools, the British Cultural Council, and Cambridge; to enable the mechanisms of cooperation greater.
The meeting was attended by Mai Al-Hadad, the executive director of Cambridge in Egypt and North Africa, and Shaima Al-Banna, the head of the education sector at the British Cultural Council in Egypt, and Fakhr Jeffrey, the head of exams sector in the board, Abdul Raouf Allam, the head of Supreme Board of Trustees, Parents and Teachers, and Ghada Al-Djani, the administrative director of the Modern English School, and Salah Aisha, the regional director of Shoifat Schools.
From the Ministry of Education, Muhammad Attia, the head of the Central Department of Education with expenses, including Mikhail, the Director-General of the International Official Schools Administration, and Muhammad Sharif from the office of the Minister of Education.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hijazi, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Elizabeth White, Director of the British Cultural Council in Egypt, signed a cooperation protocol on the implementation of a number of activities that support English language learning, and developing the skills of English, math and science teachers in primary level.
The Protocol is the foundation of a new phase, aimed at strengthening cooperation in the fields of training programs; building the capacity of teacher trainers, teaching profession practice groups to include 6,000 teachers, as well as meeting the needs related to the mastery of English teachers, teaching skills and awareness of global environmental issues, and implementing a number of activities that support English learning, and development Skills of English, Maths and Science teachers in primary school in the 27 governorates of Egypt.
